Job summary

Jamestown Place Health and Rehab is seeking a Hospitality Aide/Caregiver to support nurses and aides in daily tasks at our skilled nursing facility in Jamestown, OH. The role involves helping with meals, transporting residents, and assisting in activities and routine care as directed by supervisors.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to pass a background check. It offers full-time or part-time hours with a competitive benefits package and the chance to work

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and nursing assistants as needed.
• Pass ice, water pitchers, linens, towels, and washcloths.
• Mark and pass supplies, make beds, and help serve plates and drinks to residents at mealtimes.
• Set/clean off tables in dining areas, clean dishes, put dishes away.
• Assist in passing snacks to residents.
• Transport residents to and from activities and conduct one‑on‑one activities with residents.
• Assist in various cleaning activities including but not limited to, emptying linen/trash bins, cleaning wheelchairs, or other housekeeping duties.
• Reports changes in a resident’s condition to the resident’s nurse and supervisor.
• All other non-resident care duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Hospitality Aide provides assistance to Nurse(s) and nursing assistants for all non-resident care duties as assigned and in accordance with care plans, facility policies and procedures and at the direction of supervisor(s).
