Xenia Health and Rehab is seeking a Hospitality Aide/Caregiver to support nursing staff and residents at our facility in Xenia, OH. The role includes assisting with meals, transporting residents, and light housekeeping under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurses and nursing assistants as needed.
• Pass ice, water pitchers, linens, towels, and washcloths.
• Mark and pass supplies, make beds, and help serve plates and drinks to residents at mealtimes.
• Set/clean tables in dining areas, clean dishes, and put dishes away.
• Assist in passing snacks to residents.
• Transport residents to and from activities and conduct one‑on‑one activities with residents.
• Assist in cleaning activities including emptying linen/trash bins and cleaning wheelchairs.

Position Summary

The Hospitality Aide provides assistance to Nurse(s) and nursing assistants for all non-resident care duties as assigned and in accordance with care plans, facility policies and procedures and at the direction of supervisor(s).

Key Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and nursing assistants as needed.

• Pass ice, water pitchers, linens, towels, and washcloths.

• Mark and pass supplies, make beds, and help serve plates and drinks to residents at mealtimes.

• Set/clean off tables in dining areas, clean dishes, put dishes away.

• Assist in passing snacks to residents.

• Transport residents to and from activities as well as conduct one‑on‑one activities with residents.

• Assist in various cleaning activities including but not limited to, emptying linen/trash bins, cleaning wheelchairs, or other housekeeping duties.

• Reports changes in a resident’s condition to the resident’s nurse and supervisor.

• All other non-resident care duties as assigned.
