Job summary

Jamestown Place Health and Rehab in Jamestown, OH, is seeking a Hospitality Aide/Caregiver to assist nursing staff with non-resident care duties and support residents during activities. This role emphasizes compassion and teamwork.

Responsibilities include passing supplies, helping with meals, light housekeeping, and reporting changes to nurses. Both full-time and part-time positions with negotiable salary are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to successfully pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and nursing assistants.
• Pass ice, water pitchers, linens, towels, and washcloths.
• Mark and pass supplies, make beds, and help serve plates and drinks to residents at mealtimes.
• Set/clean off tables in dining areas, clean dishes, put dishes away.
• Assist in passing snacks to residents.
• Transport residents to and from activities and conduct one-on-one activities with residents.
• Assist in cleaning activities including emptying linen/trash bins and cleaning wheelchairs.
• Report changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse and supervisor.
• All other non-resident care duties as assigned.
