Job summary

Jamestown Place Health and Rehab in Jamestown, OH is seeking a Hospitality Aide/Caregiver to support nurses and nursing assistants with non-resident care duties and daily tasks in accordance with care plans and policies.

Responsibilities include passing supplies, setting tables, assisting with meals and activities, light cleaning, and reporting changes to the nurse. High school diploma required; background check must be passed; competitive wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to successfully pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and nursing assistants as needed.
• Pass ice, water pitchers, linens, towels, and washcloths.
• Mark and pass supplies, make beds, and help serve plates and drinks to residents at mealtimes.
• Set/clean off tables in dining areas, clean dishes, put dishes away.
• Assist in passing snacks to residents.
• Transport residents to and from activities as well as conduct one-on-one activities with residents.
• Assist in various cleaning activities including but not limited to, emptying linen/trash bins, cleaning wheelchairs, or other housekeeping duties.
• Reports changes in a resident’s condition to the resident’s nurse and supervisor.
• All other non-resident care duties as assigned.
