Qualifications

• Master's degree in hospitality or related field, or 18 graduate credits plus a master’s from an accredited institution.
• Industry experience in hospitality, food & beverage, hotels and resorts, events, tourism, or related industries.
• Ability to teach on-campus during daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses on campus with content delivery, materials prep, grading, and timely feedback.
• Teach online using the university LMS according to outlines and online delivery standards.
• Maintain course sites in the LMS and update the grade center weekly.
• Keep accurate attendance and achievement records per university policies.
• Provide syllabus with objectives, materials, attendance policy, and evaluation criteria.
• Communicate with department chair and counselor for at-risk students.
• Refer students to university resources and populate faculty information system.
• Attend orientation and meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
