Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in hospitality or related field.
• 18 graduate credits in the discipline plus a master's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Experience teaching at the post-secondary level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned course(s) on campus by delivering course content, preparing materials and grading.
• Teach online using the university's LMS according to JWU standards.
• Maintain course site and update grade center weekly per university requirements.
• Keep accurate records of attendance and academic achievement.
• Distribute syllabus with objectives, materials, attendance policy and evaluation criteria.
• Communicate with students, department chair and counselor as needed.
