Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in baking and pastry arts or a closely related field.
• Five or more years of relevant food/food service industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned course(s) on campus by delivering course content, preparing materials, grading work, and providing timely feedback.
• Teaches online courses using the university's LMS according to JWU outlines and standards.
• Prepares and maintains course sites in the LMS and updates the grade center weekly.
• Keeps accurate attendance and performance records per university policies.
• Distributes syllabi with objectives, materials, attendance policy, and evaluation criteria.
• Communicates with students, department chair, and academic counselor when support is needed.
• Directs students to university resources for guidance and support services.
• Populates the faculty information system with teaching credentials data.
• Attends faculty orientation and meetings and performs other duties as assigned.
