Job summary

Azul Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee a portfolio of hotels, lead the close, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role partners with hotel and regional leadership and manages the accounting team for quality, timeliness, and compliance.

The position emphasizes staff development, internal controls, audits, and smooth onboarding of new properties within Azul’s expanding portfolio. Strong technical accounting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Five+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within hospitality, multi-property, or multi-entry environments.
• Strong knowledge of general-ledger accounting, financial statements, reconciliations, month-end close, accrual accounting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and annual close processes and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for the assigned portfolio or function.
• Maintain balance-sheet integrity and ensure bank reconciliations are accurate and timely.
• Review significant journal entries, reconciliations, and unusual transactions; publish financial statements.
