Loews New Orleans Hotel is seeking an Accounting Generalist to support financial operations in our Warehouse District property. You will analyze data, assist in budgeting and reporting, and collaborate with front desk, F&B, and other departments to ensure accurate financial processes.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, organizational skill, and strong communication with cross-functional teams, with opportunities to grow within a premier hospitality brand in New Orleans.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in figures, transactions, and reports.
• Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies.
• Organizational skills to manage deadlines and maintain records.
• Strong communication with other departments on budgeting or auditing issues.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel; knowledge of financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc accounting activities in support of operations and Financial Director.
• Banking and auditing cash boxes, daily deposits, and petty cash.
• Organize and distribute paychecks as directed.
• Attend pre-convention and client billing review meetings.
• Handle storeroom/receiving activities and verify receipt of materials.
