ProMedica Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity in Toledo, OH

ProMedica, one of the largest and most integrated healthcare delivery systems in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to work at ProMedica Ebeid Children's Hospital in Toledo, OH. Ideal candidates should be focused on patient-centered care and interested in teaching medical students and residents. Candidates must be BC/BE. Pediatric Hospital Medicine certification or eligibility is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working with a dedicated team focused on quality patient care and high work ethics.
2. Using electronic medical records (EPIC).
3. Collaborating with a group of currently 9 pediatric hospitalists, with plans to expand.
4. 12-hour shifts, mostly day shifts, with two full-time nocturnists.
5. Coordinating with ER and outside facilities to triage patients.
6. Providing care in a Level 1 nursery (no deliveries or circumcisions) with NICU coverage on campus 24/7.
7. Providing 24/7 coverage for pediatric admissions, including PICU.
8. Collaborating with the University of Toledo Medical School and Pediatric residency program, offering teaching opportunities.
9. Participating in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:
