USA Health Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama, seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join our hospitalist team. Provide inpatient care, admit and consult on hospitalized patients, and coordinate with nurses, APPs, and specialists to ensure timely discharges.

Join a collaborative, academic health system with nine hospitalists and APP support. Flexible scheduling (14 shifts per month, 7 a.m.–7 p.m.).

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine in the United States.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABIM or ABFM; eligible for Alabama medical license.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for hospitalized patients.
• Serve as admitting, attending, and consulting physician for inpatient care.
• Accept/manage referrals from ED, PCPs, and specialists; coordinate with care teams.
• Support quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation per hospital policies.
