USA Health Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join its established hospitalist team. The role involves inpatient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and contributions to education and research activities.

The position offers flexible scheduling with 14 shifts per month from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with APP support and opportunities to impact hospital medicine services.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine in the United States.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABIM or ABFM.
• US residency training and board eligibility requirements; international training alone is insufficient.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for hospitalized patients.
• Admit, attend, and consult on hospitalized patients as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses, APPs, specialists and teams to coordinate care and timely discharges.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain proper documentation.
