Job summary

Meritus Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for Hospitalist Day shifts on a part-time basis in Hagerstown, MD. You will work under attending physicians to deliver general medical care efficiently and compassionately.

Requirements include a BS from an AMA-accredited PA program, Maryland PA license, BLS, and ideally ACLS/PALS. One year of outpatient experience is preferred; knowledge of Meditech and Allscripts helps.

Qualifications

• Education: BS from an AMA accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Maryland PA license and current BLS; ACLS/PALS as applicable.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical care under attending physicians in hospitalist day shifts.
• Support accurate coding and documentation using ICD-9/CPT in the EHR.
