Job summary

Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant to join a tight-knit team of 4 physicians and 4 APPs. You will round with two doctors, manage admissions and discharges, and support quality initiatives in a community hospital setting.

We offer a 10-hour day shift (8:00 AM–6:00 PM) with potential for 9–12 shifts per month, a salaried feel through per-shift pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching and CME allowance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Physician Assistant with U.S. work authorization.
• Hospitalist experience preferred.
• Active license to practice in the United States.

Responsibilities

• See a wide variety of diseases in a small community hospital with specialist support.
• Collaborate with a physician for patient management on your own patients.
• Utilize dictation tools and informatics platform for efficient workflow.
• Manage patients from admission to discharge.
