Sound Physicians seeks a Hospitalist Physician Assistant for Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, KS. Join a close-knit team of 4 physicians and 4 APPs with 10-hour day shifts from Mon–Fri and options for 9–12 shifts per month.

Compensation is $770/shift for the first 9 shifts and $870/shift thereafter, plus a quality bonus and full benefits. You will manage a diverse patient load from admission to discharge, collaborating with physicians and using Magnetech with Dragon for dictation in

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 4 APPs at Ascension Via Christi Hospital.
• Round Monday – Friday with two doctors for an ADC of 40 patients.
• Open ICU with Tele Intensivist backup, but the doctors will see the ICU patients.
• We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
• Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
• Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified Physician Assistant.
• Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with option for contract for 9 – 12 shifts/month.
• Flexible scheduling.
