Locum Hospitalist - ongoing need - Toledo, OH (2 Hospitalists needed)

Setting: Inpatient

Requirement: BE/BC, active OH license

EMR: Cerner

Description:

Our client needs two hospitalists to work 7am to 7pm shifts. The schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off rotating weeks. This is an ASAP start position with a start date of 3/10/2022, and the site will issue emergent privileges.

Ideally, the position will be filled with two hospitalists who can rotate weeks, but candidates available for 1 week per month ongoing will also be considered.

The hospitalist will round on an average of 20-30 patients per day, with up to 25 admissions daily. Two NP's will cover most admissions.

The hospitalist should be able to run codes. If comfortable, they can perform arterial lines; otherwise, procedures are optional, as service lines like critical care are available for assistance.

The client is open to locum-to-permanent candidates, as well as physicians interested in ongoing fill-in roles.
