Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist physician in Owensboro, KY for locum tenens coverage. Start date ASAP with 12-hour shifts (7:00a–7:00p or 7:00p–7:00a).

Candidate must hold ACLS, BLS, DEA and a Kentucky license, with credentialing anticipated in 30–60 days. Our team handles travel, lodging, and setup to ensure seamless placement.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications are required.
• Active Kentucky State Medical License is required.
• Credentialing typically 30–60 days.
• Experience as Hospitalist or General Medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hospitalist coverage per schedule (7:00a–7:00p or 7:00p–7:00a).
• Deliver inpatient care and round on patients during shifts.
• Collaborate with care teams and follow facility protocols.
