Position Overview:

The Hospitalist specializes in the care of hospitalized patients, managing overall patient care including diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning. They collaborate closely with healthcare team members such as nurses, pharmacists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluating and managing hospitalized patients
2. Developing and implementing treatment plans
3. Coordinating care with healthcare team members
4. Discharging patients from the hospital
5. Providing education to patients and families

Qualifications:

1. Medical degree from an accredited medical school
2. Residency in Internal Medicine or related specialty
3. Board certification in Internal Medicine or related specialty
4. Strong clinical and decision-making skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work independently and in team settings
