Local Team Collaboration:

• Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 29 physicians and 4 APPs with the support of a clinical performance nurse at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital.
• Our group participates in several hospitalist committees and QI projects.
• Cleveland Clinic Akron General is a 532-bed regional medical center with the prestigious "Magnet" status. It is recognized regionally and within Ohio for its expertise and care.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• We support H1 visa candidates with excellent in-house visa specialists and licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered by Sound.
• New graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

• This role offers day, night, or swing-shift coverage.
• Our schedule includes 11 physicians and one APP working daily from 7 am to 7 pm, one physician on a swing shift from 12 pm to 12 am, and two physicians with one APP working nightly from 7 pm to 7 am.
• We operate on a seven-on/seven-off rotation, with approximately two weeks of swings and two weeks of nights annually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex cases; the ICU is closed, and no procedures or codes are required. Our team responds to codes on their patients.
• Work with IM and FM residents from the Cleveland Clinic Akron General residency program for teaching opportunities.
