Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hospitalist (Rounding Shifts) to join our community-based hospital. You will provide direct inpatient care and collaborate with hospitalists and other providers.

The daytime rounds are 7am–7pm, 7 days on/off, with an average of 10–12 patients per shift and no procedures required. Massachusetts licenses and inpatient medicine experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner program, or Physician Assistant program
• Current license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or ability to obtain
• Requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in Inpatient Medicine as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current certification in CPR, BLS, and ACLS required
• Interest in working full time, preferred

• Provide direct inpatient care to our communities in a well-established community hospital
• Patient-centric mindset to provide the highest-quality service and patient care
• Work alongside other passionate hospitalists and advanced practitioners
• Work cross-functionally with primary care providers and other specialties
• Daytime rounding shift is 7am-7pm working 7 days on and 7 days off (including holidays)
• Average of 10-12 patients per shift
• No procedures required
