Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA, seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hospitalist for daytime rounding shifts (7am–7pm) with a 7-on/7-off schedule. The role delivers direct inpatient care in a well-established community hospital.

The ideal candidate has inpatient medicine experience, MA license (or eligibility), and current CPR/BLS/ACLS certifications, and is committed to providing high-quality patient care with a collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Adult/Gerontology NP, Family Medicine NP, or Physician Assistant program.
• Current license as Massachusetts RN and NP or PA (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 1–2 years of inpatient medicine experience as NP or PA.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Interest in working full time.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care in a well-established community hospital.
• Maintain a patient-centric approach to deliver high-quality care.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and advanced practitioners.
• Work cross-functionally with primary care providers and other specialties.
• daytime rounding shifts from 7am to 7pm, 7 days on and 7 days off (including holidays).
• Manage an average of 10–12 patients per shift.
• No procedures required.

Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hospitalist (Rounding Shifts) to join our community-based hospital in Attleboro, MA. We are a patient-focused organization and looking to grow our team with hospitalists who are dedicated to providing meaningful patient care.

Since 1913, Sturdy Memorial Hospital has been dedicated to providing its community with a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. What started as a 15-bed facility over 100 years ago has grown to be a 142-bed facility. We admit over 7,000 individuals each year.

• Provide direct inpatient care to our communities in a well-established community hospital

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner program, or Physician Assistant program
• Current license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or ability to obtain
• Requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in Inpatient Medicine as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current certification in CPR, BLS, and ACLS required
• Interest in working full time, preferred
