Job summary

Locums Choice is seeking hospitalists to cover assigned shifts at our partner facilities. You will respond to codes for your own patients, with an average daily census of 284 and about 40 admissions per day.

Night admissions range 7-9 per nocturnist, with rapid responses on own patients. EMR is EPIC, and CA license plus ACLS are required. We offer competitive pay, concierge travel, credentialing/licensing support, and robust malpractice coverage for peace of mind.

Hospitalists respond to codes for their own patients

Average daily Census: 284

Average daily admissions: 40 per 24hrs

Average night admissions: 7-9 per Nocturnist + Plus coverage and rapid responses on own patients

MD/DO Staffing per shift:

• Day MD/DO rounders - 16
• Day MD admissions – 1
• Swing MD/DO (1p-1a) -1
• Swing MD/DO (3p-3a) -2
• Night MD/DO (7p-7a) -2

EMR: EPIC

Cred Timeframe: 60-90 days but can push clean files – no med malp; through very quickly

CA License is required as week as ACLS
