Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking a Hospitalist Coordinator to manage inpatient flow and provider inpatient assignments at our facility in California. You will monitor and support coding and billing processes for the hospitalist and assist with compliance and timely shift transitions.

The role emphasizes strong communication within hospitalist teams, attention to detail, and collaborative problem solving in a high-volume acute care environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for all new hires effective April 2014.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, typing skills, calculator and/or ten-key adding machine.
  • Word processing, spreadsheet experience required.
  • Experience in healthcare preferred, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.00 to $26.22. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
