Job summary

US Acute Care Solutions in New Bern, NC is seeking an Assistant Medical Director to collaborate with the Medical Director and the Integrated Acute Care team to deliver patient-centered care and drive continuous improvement.

You’ll gain ownership in the group and access to post-residency CME, with a culture of shared ownership while supervising IAC staff, recruiting physicians and APPs, and ensuring adherence to governing bodies.

Qualifications

• Leadership and clinical management experience preferred.
• Ability to recruit and mentor physicians and APPs.
• Experience overseeing hospitalist services and governance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit Physicians and APPs to the practice.
• Provide orientation, mentoring, and monitoring of new providers.
• Supervise IAC team members, create schedules, attend meetings.
• Ensure the IAC practice follows governing bodies.
• Provide direct care to patients.

• Primary service provider for a three-county area; and regional health center for a five-county area
