Job summary

US Acute Care Solutions seeks an experienced Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our physician-owned acute care team. You will practice compassionate, attentive patient care, working side by side with physicians as clinical colleagues and benefiting from local, regional, and national APP leadership.

Qualifications

• Experienced hospitalist APP (PA or NP) joining a physician-led acute care group.
• Ability to collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff.
• Opportunities for APP leadership development across local, regional, and national levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care as a PA/NP in a hospitalist setting.
• Collaborate with physicians to manage patient care plans and admissions.
• Engage in APP development programs and participate in leadership initiatives.

Hospital Details

Inpatient services span a broad range of primary and secondary Acute Care services. Outpatient services include Rehabilitation, Obstetrical/Gynecological, Sleep Testing, Cardiology, and additional care.

Hospitalist Service

• Daily Encounters: 114
• Staffing Model:
  • 16-20 per Physician – 84 hours of Physician coverage daily
  • 12-14 per APP – 36 hours of APP coverage daily
• EMR: Epic
• 14 Physician/8 APP provider Hospitalist team
• Dedicated Nocturnist
• Intensivists onsite until ~5 pm, then on call
• Procedures not required
• Open ICU
