Job summary

US Acute Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a Coastal Virginia program transitioning to a community hospital. The position features 12-hour in-person physician coverage and 12-hour night APP coverage with telemedicine physician support.

You will join a dedicated night APP team and work closely with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality acute care.

Qualifications

• Hospitalist experience as PA or NP (hospital-based care).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with in-person physician coverage.
• Virginia licensure or eligibility to practice.
• Team-based collaboration with physicians and APPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist coverage in a growing community hospital.

Hospitalist Service

• Daily Encounters: 1

Staffing Model

• 12 hours of in-person Physician coverage
• 12 hours of night APP coverage with 12 hours of Telemedicine Physician support
• 1 Physician in-house, 1 Physician Telemedicine/1 APP provider Hospitalist team
• APP will act as a dedicated night provider
