TeamHealth is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our Hospital Medicine program at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka, Florida. This full-time role features a 7-on/7-off block schedule with day shifts from 7am to 7pm and a collaborative, physician-led team environment.

Qualifications

• Florida NP or PA license (or eligibility).
• Board certification as NP or PA.
• Experience in hospital medicine, inpatient, internal medicine, critical care, or emergency medicine.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and daily rounds.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized adult patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with supervising physicians and teams.
• Coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Communicate with patients, families, consultants and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and daily rounds
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized adult patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the EMR
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, consultants, and hospital staff

Qualifications

• Current Florida NP or PA license (or eligibility)
• Board certification as an NP or PA
• Prior hospital medicine, inpatient, internal medicine, critical care, or emergency medicine experience required
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
