Edphysician is seeking an emergency medicine physician to join our team at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka, Florida. This role offers the chance to work in a busy, 18-bed emergency department managing around 41,000 annual visits.

The ideal candidate will be board certified in emergency medicine or board eligible, with valid ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications. The position includes competitive compensation, a sign-on bonus, and access to TeamHealth’s wellness program.

Emergency Department Overview

• 41,000 annual visits
• 18-bed emergency department
• 24-34 hours of physician coverage
• 18 hours of APC coverage
• EMR system: Meditech

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
• Board certified in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with current EM experience and valid ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
• Completion of an accredited residency program required
