TeamHealth is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the Hospital Medicine team at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka, Florida. This full-time role features a 7-on/7-off block schedule with day shifts from 7am to 7pm, offering a strong work-life balance in a collaborative, physician-led environment.

As part of an established hospital medicine program, you will have professional autonomy with robust clinical support and access to TeamHealth's clinician

Qualifications

• Current Florida NP or PA license (or eligibility).
• Board certification as NP or PA.
• Experience in hospital medicine, inpatient, internal medicine, critical care or emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and daily rounds.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized adult patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the EMR.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, consultants, and hospital staff.
