Job summary

CaduceusMedicalRecruitment is seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine physicians to join a well-established, high-volume hospitalist program within a large integrated health care system. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule, strong specialty support, and a collaborative inpatient environment.

Role involves inpatient care in a robust hospitalist program with multidisciplinary teams, an emphasis on patient throughput, and opportunities for additional shifts to increase

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for adult patients.
• Admit and manage patients from the ED and transfers.
• Provide consultative and co-management services with specialists.
• Collaborate with intensivists in care of critically ill patients (no procedures required).
• Manage patients within observation/clinical decision units as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, case management, and specialty services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EHR.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics.
• Contribute to patient flow and hospital throughput initiatives.
