Job summary

CaduceusMedicalRecruitment is seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine physicians to join a well-established, high-volume hospitalist program within a large, integrated healthcare system. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule and strong specialty support in a collaborative inpatient environment.

The role provides a robust hospitalist program with multidisciplinary care, no on-call duties, and opportunities for additional shifts for increased income.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Experience in inpatient hospitalist settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for adult patients.
• Admit and manage patients from the emergency department and transfers.
• Provide consultative and co-management services with specialists.
• Collaborate with intensivists in care of critically ill patients (no procedures).
• Manage patients within observation/clinical decision units as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including nursing and case management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics.
• Contribute to patient flow and hospital throughput initiatives.
