Job summary

CaduceusMedicalRecruitment is seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine physicians to join a well-established, high-volume hospitalist program within a large, integrated health care system. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule, strong specialty support, and a collaborative inpatient environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for adult patients.
• Admit and manage patients from the emergency department and transfers.
• Provide consultative and co-management services with specialists.
• Collaborate with intensivists in the care of critically ill patients (no procedures required).
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, case management, and specialty services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics.
• Contribute to efficient patient flow and hospital throughput initiatives.
