Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking a Transporter to safely move patients within the hospital using wheelchairs, stretchers, and other equipment. The role requires caring interactions with patients and staff, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and current BLS certification; 1 year of transport experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• 1 year of transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients to and from hospital units using transport equipment.
• Demonstrates proper body mechanics and patient handling.
• Interacts with patients, staff, and physicians with professionalism and care.
• Maintains a safe patient environment and adheres to iCARE Standards.
