Asante in Medford, OR is seeking a Transporter to support patient and non-patient transportation in collaboration with nursing staff. You will assist with lifting and moving patients, coordinate with care teams, and help ensure safety and comfort for immobile and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending, reaching, and other physical movements is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient and non-patient transportation in collaboration with nursing staff and coworkers.
• Inform patients and families about where transportation is going and estimated return time.
• Respond to pages promptly and communicate transport completion.
• Perform environmental safety checks before entering or leaving patient rooms.
• Communicate clearly to ensure patient safety and staff concerns are understood.
• Respond quickly to hospital codes as needed.
