Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year in acute or skilled nursing environment providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Transfer patients between care areas under the direction of a RN.
• Assist with EKGs when needed and refer readings to RN or Rapid Response Nurse.
• Provide unit secretary support by handling calls and routing messages when not transporting.
• Maintain patient privacy and safety, ensuring correct patient identity and chart with transports.
• Answer front desk calls, relay messages, and document patient information as required.
