Avera Orthopedic Hospital-Sioux Falls is looking for a Supply Chain Technician to manage receipt, verification, and distribution of medical and non‑medical supplies. You will maintain inventory accuracy, replenish par levels, and support safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and less than one year in inventory control or supply chain work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year in inventory control, materials management, or supply chain operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Creates requisition of needed supplies to refill par locations and restock shelves. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of shelves in storeroom and par locations.
• Accurately picks and dispenses inventory requisitions from ERP via handheld device and delivers supplies within 24–48 hours.
• Conducts regular cycle counting via handheld technology to audit perpetual inventory accuracy.
• Receives, unpacks, and inspects incoming freight, reconciling packing slips with physical delivery and noting shortages or damage.
• Delivers all supplies to departments daily and may create shipping labels for courier or third party shippers.
• Assists with periodic physical inventory count process.
