Job summary

Avera Health is hiring a Supply Chain Technician to ensure accurate receipt, verification and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies. You will maintain inventory integrity with cycle counts and support perpetual inventory systems while refilling par levels across departments.

Responsibilities include picking and dispensing from the ERP, delivering items within 24–48 hours, handling rush orders, and coordinating with buyers on discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year in inventory control, materials management, or supply chain operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Creates requisitions to refill par locations and restock shelves.
• Maintains orderly shelves and updates shelf labels.
• Accurately picks and dispenses inventory via ERP on handheld device, delivering within 24–48 hours.
• Fills and delivers rush or emergency orders.
• Performs cycle counts to audit perpetual inventory accuracy.
• Receives, unpacks, and inspects incoming freight, noting shortages/damage.
• Notifies buyers of discrepancies within 24 hours.
• Receives purchase orders into ERP at delivery time.
• Files packing slips per retention policy.
• Delivers supplies to departments daily; creates shipping labels for courier.
