Job summary

Community Medical Center, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to stock and maintain supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted inventory practices to support efficient patient care.

You will perform cycle counts, manage par levels, log receipts, enter data into the inventory system, and deliver items to departments while maintaining professionalism on the receiving dock.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.
• Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Stocks units with office and medical supplies and maintains par levels.
• Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports damages to management.
• Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
• Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
• Processes outgoing mail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
