Job summary

St. Michael's Hospital Avera seeks a part‑time Supply Chain / Sterile Processing Technician to ensure accurate receipt, verification, and distribution of medical and non‑medical supplies.

You will support inventory integrity through cycle counts, par level replenishment, and timely delivery to clinical and non‑clinical areas. Responsibilities include decontamination, sterilization, and QA‑guided procedures, with adherence to Infection Control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year in inventory control, materials management, or supply chain operations.
• Ability to work in a team and follow Infection Control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create requisitions to refill par locations and restock shelves.
• Maintain orderly storeroom shelves and update labels.
• Pick and dispense inventory via ERP and deliver within 24–48 hours.
• Fill rush and emergency orders upon receipt.
• Perform regular cycle counts to audit inventory accuracy.
• Receive, unpack, inspect freight, and reconcile packing slips.
• Notify buyers of discrepancies within 24 hours.
• Enter purchase orders into ERP when goods are received.
• File packing slips per retention policy and deliver supplies to departments daily.
• Assist with third‑party shipping labels and periodic inventory counts.
