Position: Supply Chain Manager (Healthcare/Medical)

Duration: 5 Month contract to start, potential for extension and/or Conversion to FTE

Rate: $50.00/Hr

Description:

This position provides onsite leadership for Central Distribution operations at a Medical Center as part of a Market Performance Partnership supporting the client. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, inventory management, replenishment, and distribution of medical and surgical supplies throughout the hospital while maintaining compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, infection prevention requirements, and accreditation standards. The role oversees approximately 20 union-represented staff members and serves as a key operational leader supporting patient care. Team Structure: Approximately 20 union-represented employees including Material Clerks, Receiving Clerks, and Inventory Support Personnel. Uses Workday ERP and inventory management systems.

Work Hours:

Generally 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Schedule flexibility required based on operational needs.

Dress Code:

Hospital-issued scrubs are the primary attire.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years supply chain/materials management experience; 3+ years leadership experience; inventory management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Acute care hospital supply chain leadership, Central Distribution management, union workforce supervision, surgical services support, Joint Commission readiness. Workday experience preferred.
