Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Manager of Product Logistics & Distribution to oversee onsite inventory, manage stockless inventory, and supervise the distribution team. The role requires coordinating with vendors and hospital departments to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure contract compliance.

The position emphasizes developing procedures, improving timeliness and cost-efficiency, and leading capital budgeting activities while ensuring compliance with health and safety

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply logistics or distribution management.
• Experience with inventory control, budget monitoring, and asset tracking.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains related records and documentation via electronic or manual systems.
• Develops methods to improve timeliness and cost-effectiveness of services.
• Manages centralized inventory of critical on-site supplies.
• Coordinates with departments to establish PAR levels and ensure compliance.
• Operates stockless inventory program and coordinates with vendors and buyers.
• Maintains equipment inventory and asset records; disposes obsolete equipment.
• Develops quality assurance programs and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Prepares periodic management reports.
