Ochsner Health System is seeking a Materials Handler to process and distribute supplies and equipment across hospital departments. You will inspect deliveries, maintain par levels, rotate stock, and support inventory processes while delivering exceptional internal customer service.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to travel between facilities, and hold a valid driver’s license; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior work experience required.
• Healthcare/materials management experience preferred.
• Driver's license required; forklift certification preferred if operating at certain locations.
• Supply chain/inventory certs preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based apps expected.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work a flexible schedule.

Responsabilités

• Maintain storeroom inventory and par levels.
• Process receipts and deliveries; inspect shipments.
• Organize delivery carts by destination.
• Deliver to hospital departments and log deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain signatures.
• Inspect deliveries for hospital, clinic, and admin areas.
• Perform cycle counts and year-end inventories.
• Address internal and external customer needs.
• Perform additional duties as required.
