Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; stationary engineer license within 6 months of start date.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a stationary engineer with maintenance expertise.
- License preferred in Chicago or Elgin area; valid driver’s license if offsite duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance of electrical distribution and related systems.
- Read blueprints, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance per procedure.
- Monitor and document repairs and maintenance actions.
- Assist in evaluating new equipment and supervising outside contractors.
- Provide in-house project support and cost evaluation.
