The Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative is seeking a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain boilers, steam engines, and related power plant equipment in a healthcare setting. You will monitor systems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a NYC Stationary Engineer License, a high school diploma or equivalent with technical boiler/HVAC training, and a trade apprenticeship completing five years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; boiler/HVAC training preferred.
• NYC Stationary Engineer License required.
• Minimum 3 years of boiler operation/maintenance in healthcare or industrial setting.
• Completion of a trade apprenticeship program with five years of experience as a Stationary Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: S-12 Citywide Sprinkler Systems, S-13 Citywide Standpipe System, G-71 Supervision of Piped Non-Flammable Medical Gases, G-60 Torch Use of Flammable Gases, F-60 Fire Guard for Torch Operations & Const. Site

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain boilers, steam engines, air compressors, and related power plant equipment.
• Monitor systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, and engines.
• Maintain logs and records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency situations and perform corrective actions as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
