Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• NYC Stationary Engineer License required.
• Minimum 3 years of boiler operation/maintenance experience in healthcare or industrial setting.
• Trade apprenticeship completed; five years as Stationary Engineer preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, steam engines, air compressors and related power plant equipment.
• Monitor systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, boilers and engines.
• Maintain logs and records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergencies and perform corrective actions as needed.
