Advocate Health is seeking a Security Aide to patrol hospital interiors and exteriors, inspect entrances, monitor for hazards, and report suspicious activity. You may man a stationary post to deter visitors in a designated area and assist patients and visitors with directions.

Responsibilities include coordinating parking lot patrols, issuing parking citations and towing notices, and maintaining a violations database.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of public contact experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to walk/stand 90% of the shift.
• Good communication, organization and judgment.

Responsabilités

• Patrols interior and exterior areas to ensure safety and inspect for hazards.
• May be assigned to a stationary post for visitor control.
• Assist patients and visitors with information and directions.
• Perform routine lost and found pick-ups.
• Patrol parking lots and coordinate with contracted security as needed.
• Issue parking citations and towing notices; maintain violations database.
• Monitor traffic and report hazards to supervisor.
• May perform medical standby in emergencies.
