GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer for the Phoenix, AZ region. You will patrol diverse environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers, reading the scene and anticipating risk to act accordingly.

The role offers a set schedule, competitive hourly wage of $20.50, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with employer matching, PTO, disability coverage, and life insurance. Uniform provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass an extensive screening process.
• First aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State license if required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check alarms and cameras for proper functioning.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What’s In It For You

• Site Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Set schedule: Fri- Tue 10pm- 6am (40 hours per week)
• Shift 2: Sat- Tue 6am- 2pm (32 hours per week)
• Shift 3: Wed- Sun 6am- 2pm (40 hours per week)
• Shift 4: Wed- Sun 2pm- 10pm ( 40 hours per week)
• Shift 5: Thu- Mon 10pm- 6am (40 hours per week)
• Shift 6: Tue- Sat 6am- 2pm (40 hours per week)

Qualifications Of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 21 years or older
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
