Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily security team activities at Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, California. You will mentor personnel, assign patrols, respond to incidents, and enforce security policies to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and knowledge of security protocols and emergency response.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience as a security officer with leadership responsibilities.
• CA Security Guard license.
• Driver's License; CA within 30 days.
• BLS/CPR certification within 90 days.
• Familiar with Joint Commission, CMS and OSHA regulations.
• IAHSS courses within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily security team activities.
• Mentor staff, assign posts, respond to incidents, enforce policies, conduct investigations.
• Maintain security programs and risk assessments; ensure safety of life and property.
• Provide leadership for Security Services and campus oversight.
