Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Professional - Unarmed in Nashville. You will perform unarmed patrols of hospital grounds, monitor CCTV and assist with incidents, evacuations, and patient transport as needed. This role requires strong communication and de-escalation skills in a healthcare setting.

The position emphasizes safety, vigilant access control, and timely reporting, with attention to detail and collaboration with hospital staff to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities required.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.
• Ability to de-escalate and interact with patients and staff.
• Must be able to operate radio/console equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform unarmed patrols of hospital grounds on foot or vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and manage combative individuals as needed.
• Transport patients to the morgue when required.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies and investigate incidents.
• Sound alarms and notify police or fire departments as appropriate.
• Monitor entrances/exits and ensure only authorized access.
• Maintain logs and prepare incident reports.
