Good Shepherd Health Care System is seeking a Security Officer for Urgent Care with a 0.9 FTE schedule (36 hrs/week). Shifts run 6:30am–7:00pm, located at the Urgent Care site. Wage range is $20.60–$31.55 per hour.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring, incident reporting, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; Oregon DPSST unarmed guard, CPR, and MOAB certifications on hire.

Qualificações

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Unarmed Guard certification from the Oregon DPSST required or obtained upon hire.
• Current CPR certification required.
• MOAB or equivalent de-escalation/restraint certification required upon hire.
• Preferred: NA

Responsabilidades

• Patrol hospital buildings, grounds and premises to deter security breaches.
• Monitor visitors and personnel; confront unauthorized individuals as needed.
• Identify and report safety hazards and security risks.
• Respond to inquiries from hospital staff, patients, visitors with guidance and support.
• Provide safe restraint of psychiatric patients per protocol.
• Assist in security investigations and maintain records.
• Prepare incident reports and other security documentation.
• Control access to offices and facilities as scheduled.
• Log patient valuables and manage lost-and-found records.
• Manage parking and traffic flow per regulations.
• Assist with equipment and supply maintenance.
• Maintain departmental records and files.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
